A Church Under Siege in the Middle of Worship On Sunday, anti-ICE agitators stormed Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota during an active worship service, chanting and interrupting the opening prayer as congregants were gathered for Sunday worship. Congregants were shouted at. Families were harassed. Children were traumatized. This incident comes amid a broader national trend of increasing hostility toward houses of worship: a recent report documented 415 hostile incidents targeting U.S. churches in 2024 alone, including vandalism, arson, bomb threats, and other forms of aggression.
